Who benefits from seeing an herbalist?
Anyone who struggles with challenges such as stress, allergies, difficulty sleeping, weakened immunity, cardiovascular challenges, digestive issues, hormonal or emotional imbalances, inflammation and pain, autoimmune complications, infection, reduced organ function, reproductive health including PMS and menopausal symptoms, and more.
Why see an herbalist?
I am your partner to help you achieve all your wellness goals.
I am trained to assess your overall health and well-being. Using these insights I formulate a treatment strategy that you agree on that uses herbs, diet, and lifestyle to address any imbalances from a holistic perspective. For example, if you are having trouble sleeping, we will work to uncover reasons why this is (stress, inadequate digestion, pain) and I will select appropriate herbs to address the underlying issue rather than simply providing a sedative.

I was recently featured on the January 2019 episode of Laurel TV's 'Wellness Minute' TV show in Laurel, MD. My segment, discussing what an herbalist is and does, along with some simple herbal suggestions for staying healthy in winter, begins around minute 18 of the show. But by all means, watch the entire episode for additional nuggets from a nutritionist and a wellness coach.
Visit me at the 2nd Annual Health Fair, in which I will be hosting a table with herbal information and free tea samples, as well as conducting a seminar on 'how to get good sleep'.
Other activities at the fair include: flu vaccines, cholesterol, diabetes, and HIV screenings as well as presentations on fitness, CPR, and Stop the Bleeding, among others.
I hope to see you there!
